Nelson Ball, Bookseller - Excellent bookstore specializing in Cdn literature. Sells online through ABE.

Classical Bookworm - Great blog focusing on the classical literary tradition.

Mother Tongue Books - Great independent Ottawa bookstore.

Collected Works - Another great independent Ottawa bookstore.

Barbarian Press - Possibly the best fine press in Canada.

BibliOdyssey - Neat blog that looks at books, illustrations, book art, etc.

Early Printed Books - An excellent website maintained by Sian Echard listing many of the online archives of digitized early printed books. Also, check out her "Medieval Manuscripts on the Web" for books from before the age of printing.

Heavenly Monkey - Excellent Vancouver based letterpress printing & bookbinding outfit that puts out really interesting stuff. They have a page on their website with information about Jim Rimmer, the Cdn type designer, type caster and graphic artist whom The Grunge Papers has gotten some of its type from.

Mother Tongue Publishing - (formerly Mother Tongue Press) A fine literary press based on Salt Spring Island in BC that specializes in the letterpress printing and publishing of excellent chapbooks & broadsides.

Bytown Bookshop - Book store in Ottawa specializing in used & rare. Richard & France, the owners/operators of the shop, are also members of The Ottawa Press Gang.
